West Texas Hunting
Accommodations
Lodging is available in our Texas panhandle location. The lodge is conveniently located close to I-27 a few miles south of Plainview, Texas.
With a fire pit, grills, satellite television, a washer and dryer, and other accommodations it is the place for you and your hunters to relax and have a good time after a day full of hunting.
Pricing: The lodge is $50 per person per night and does not include meals.
Please notice we do book more than one party some days. The lodge is first come first serve for the party that makes reservations the soonest. If you do not want to stay in the lodge or there is another party staying there already there are Hotels in the area.

License Requirements

Regulations can change, and it is up to you to make sure you have all required licenses for what you plan to hunt. A few things worth noting include:
- Out-of-State licenses are available in a 5 day package.
- Youth who are not Texas residents will also need an out-of-state license.
- Federal and state duck stamps are required for water fowl.
- A crane stamp is required for crane hunting, and this is ONLY available online. The crane stamp is $5 along with Texas small game licenses.
- Except for the crane stamp, you should be able to obtain other required licenses at the Walmart in Plainview.
- Hunter Education Training Course is required for all hunters, resident and non-resident, who were born on or after September 2, 1971.

Accommodations
Lodging and meals are not included and are up to the customer to get. There are hotels and rental cabins in the area, and we recommend The Lighthouse Lodge & Villas. It’s a clean, affordable place to stay, and their cabins have kitchens. They also have outdoor grills for your use.

There are some restaurants nearby and also a small Family Dollar store. If you need a Walmart, you’ll want to stop on the way before you get to Venice.
License Requirements
A Louisiana state saltwater fishing license is required for all fishermen, both resident and non-resident. These are available at any Walmart in Louisiana, or they can be ordered online from Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries.
